• Barn invested and coached for at least 6-12 months.
• Starting to enter growth mode.
• Valuation is under $5m and market size is large.
• Early signs of healthy retention and churn.
• Investment primarly will be used for improving product and growth.
  

What should I know as an investor?

• If investing in a startup, can write at least a $10k check.
• Understands how power law driven investments work.
• We aim for 4-8 deals a year.
• No management fees. We only win if the company wins.
• Placement fees are dependent on software we’re raising through (Angel List, etc).
• Upon distributions, 100% principal back to investor, then 80% to investor, 20% to 25 Ships, no pref.
• We’re looking for investors who are active and communicate.
• Bringing strategic connections is insanely helpful.
